Mrs. Tefft Profiled in Local Media on U.S. Work On Health Reform
On January 16, Mrs. Tefft was profiled by national daily newspaper Segodnya, along with several other Ambassadors' spouses. Because of her work as a health professional with health-related issues in Ukraine, the interview provided an opportunity to highlight some of the work USAID and other agencies are doing to assist Ukraine with health care reforms. The interview provided an opportunity to underscore important aspects of the mission’s activities and to acquaint the public with the role of the Ambassador’s spouse. The article highlighted Embassy funding for programs such as doctor and nurse clinical training.
