U.S. GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES HUBERT H. HUMPHREY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM FOR MID-CAREER PROFESSIONALS

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine is pleased to announce the beginning of the annual competition for Ukrainians to participate in the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. This is a 10-month, non-degree Master's level program for University graduates who have a minimum of 5 years management/policy-making experience.

The program is designed to enhance professional capabilities in the following fields:

  • Agricultural and Rural Development
  • Economic Development/Finance and Banking
  • HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention
  • Natural Resources/Environmental Policy/Climate Change
  • Public Health Policy and Management
  • Urban and Regional Planning

This program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Recruitment of Ukrainian participants and administration of the program is conducted by the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. Application deadline is June 1, 2009.
