Routine notarial and passport services are scheduled through an online appointment system. Customers who arrive after their scheduled appointment time may be turned away. Before you schedule an appointment, please read the information on our website about the service that you need and complete any necessary application forms.
While U.S. citizens are welcome to make an appointment with the American Citizen Services unit (ACS) to discuss matters of general concern during regular public hours, ACS unit cannot provide any visa related information and the details of individual visa cases cannot be discussed with the third parties. Please address all US visa inquiries to the Call Center at +38-044-383-8066 in Ukraine or +1-703-988-7107 in the United States. You may find detailed information on all visa application procedures on the Call Center’s website at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua .
U.S. citizens needing emergency services (which include death, hospitalization and the arrest of a U.S. citizen) do not need an appointment.
Please email the American Citizen Services Unit if you need a service that is not included in our online system - including questions about Social Security or other federal benefits - or if you have several people that need service at the same time.
The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv can provide the service of fingerprints collection in the following cases:
- U.S. military personnel submitting the Form N-400 (Application for Naturalization) to USCIS;
- U.S. police checks for U.S. citizens.
